Eruption by Van Halen is an about 2 minute long song that is pretty much just a whole amazing guitar solo. I learned how to play this and played it at a school-wide guitar competition and I won first place so obviously its a very good guitar solo.

It is probably a song for intermediate to advanced players. It requires using techniques pull-offs, hammer-ons, whamming, tremolo picking, vibrato and tapping.

I'd like to see you post some quotes from what others have said about "Eruption." I checked online and there do seem to be some reviews. I also found a quote about writing about music that I thought you would like: "Writing about music is like dancing about architecture." --Elvis Costello
